BASSETT, CLARENCE E., 79 of Sebring, FL died September 27, 2015. He was born in Johnstown, PA and a graduate of Lowes Chantsford High School, Pennsylvania. He married Ethel Smith on August 1, 1955 moving to Sebring in 1958. He word for Cauffields Hardware and Plumbing and later for Longs Air Conditioning. He founded Bassett Electric in 1980 and was a faithful member of Sebring Church of the Brethren. Clarence is survived by his wife, Ethel and their sons, Greg (Debbie ) Bassett, Jeffrey (Carolyn) Bassett all of Sebring, Donald (Nancy) Bassett, OH, Tony Bassett, Brian (Lynette) Bassett, David (Judy) Bassett all of Sebring; brother, Clair (Dalores) Bassett, PA and sister, Helen Trimmer, Washington, DC; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Visitation 6-8, Wednesday at Morris Funeral Chapel. Services 10:00 am, Thursday at Sebring Church of the Brethren with Pastors David Smalley and Cecil Hess officiating. Entombment to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, FL.

I'm so sorry i wasn't able to attend the services. And missing out on giving & recieving a hug from Ethel. Which I always look forward to! I have known your family all my life here n Sebring (40+years). Now I'm starting to feel old. And I have allot of good good memory's. He will be missed but was so loved. My family (Arlis, Tammy, Jon) sends their condolences. I'll keep you in my prayers.
