BOHRER, REV. CHARLES Wendell, 85, passed to his heavenly home, Thursday, January 15, 2015, in Sebring, FL. He was born in Short Gap, WV, to Charles and Margaret (Whitacre) Bohrer, February 16, 1929. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers: Doris Yankee, Wanda McClausin, Donald and Wayne Borhrer. Wendell is survived by his wife, Ruth Joan (Dawson) Bohrer of 65 years. They have four children: Rev. Dr. Bradley Bohrer, (wife, Bonnie Rager Bohrer), Deborah Wright (husband, Rev. Dr. Andrew Wright), Matthew Bohrer, (wife, Noel Dulabaum Bohrer) and Joseph Bohrer, (wife, Tammy Rowland Bohrer). Wendell and Joan have 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Wendell served as the Associate Pastor of the Sebring Church of the Brethren. He was an Ordained Pastor in the Church of the Brethren for 55 years. A celebration of life will be held at the Sebring Church of the Brethren on Sunday, January 25 at 3:00 pm. Memorial may be made to Heifer International or the Nigerian Crisis Fund through Sebring Church of the Brethren.
