McCARTY, DOROTHY A., 92 of Sebring, Florida, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Leopolis, WI, daughter of ther late Michael and Annie Brunner.She attended Cosmotology College in Minnesota and married Charles R. McCarty on February 14, 1948 in Minneapolis. Dorothy managed a chain of seven beauty shops throughout the United States settling in Greensboro, NC prior to moving to Sebring in 1984. A faithful member of St. Catherine Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles R. McCarty, Sebring and a son, Dr. Michael McCarty, Martinsburg, WV and granddaughter, Megan McCarty. A Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am, Wednesday at St. Catherine Catholic Church. Burial will be in Skokie, IL.
