Life Legacy
FLANDERS, MARCIA L., 83, died February 1, 2018 in Sebring. Marcia was born in Cleveland, OH, daughter to the late Ralph and Florence (Gray) Flanders. She retired from Southern Bell, Miami, FL moving to Jacksonville, FL relocating to Sebring. A member of Spring Lake United Methodist Church. Member of Telephone Pioneers of America; Highlands Regional Medical Center, Auxiliary in Gift Shop and also served as a volunteer at Fred Wild Elementary. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Linnean and Barbara McMillan. Survived by her nieces, Beverly Dye, Anderson, SC, Bobbie Kelly and Judy Haney of Sebring and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.

I was sorry to hear of Marcia's passing. She attended the same church as my husband and I. She hadn't been to church lately and I tried calling to see if she was okay and couldn't reach her. We were happy when she moved back to Spring Lake and came back to church with us. We got to know her a little better when she needed help with her move from one house to another. She always sat in the same pew and we'll miss seeing her there. Prayers for the family. Please let me know when the memorial will be so we can attend.
