Lauran H. Gaines 66 of Sebring died July 22, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad moving to this Sebrng in 1983 from Miami, FL. Along with being a homemaker, she was a Computer Teacher at Fred Wild Elementary and she was a member and Eucharist Minister at St. James Catholic Church in Lake Placid. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Bob and a Sister, Susan DeFreitas. She is survived by her children, Josanne Gaines, Nicola Gaines, Desiree Gaines and Anthony Gaines, a sister Judy Galt, whom all reside in Sebring, her grandchildren Garrett DeRoss, Lauren Stafford, Desmond Gaines, Hannah Gaines, Ian Berg, Bella Gaines and Aiden Berg, a niece Lisa Ryan and her children Susie, Corey and Bobby, a nephew and his children, Erin, Alec and Jack. Memorial Mass, Monday, July 28, 2014, St.James Catholic Church, Lake Placid. Arrangemetns by Morris Funeral Chapel.
