KOST, DR. HENRY E, 91, of Sebring, FL died, Saturday June 12, 2010 at Sunny Hills, ALF, Sebring, FL. He was born in Pittsburgh. PA and served with the U.S. Army in W.W. II, serving in Europe and was a receipent of 5 bronze stars. Dr. Kost moved to Sebring in 1946 and started Henry Kost Chiropractic. He was a member of the Sebring Masonic Lodge, Egypt Shrine and Highlands Shrine Club. A very active member of First Baptist Church, serving as an usher, involved with Keenagers and Encouragers Sunday School Class. He was preceded by his first wife, Rhoda and 2nd wife, Cletis. Dr. Kost is survived by his step-daughter and her husband, Linday and Ron TerHaar, Charlotte, NC; brothers, Don Kost, Boca Raton, FL and Bob Kost, Fuquay, Varina, NC; sister, Alice Maute, Bradenton, FL; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 15th at First Baptist Church with Rev. Winfred White officiating. Military honors will follow by V.F.W. Post #4300, Se bring. Following the military Honors the family will receive friends in the Church Fellowship Hall. The family suggest memorials to First Baptist Church or Good Shepherd Hospice.
