HECKMAN, VIOLET RUTH, 94 of Sebring, FL, died Satuday, May 5, 2012. She was born Pine Grove, PA, daughter of the late, Dorie and Margaret Snyder Ditzler. She was a secretary for Ford Motor Corporation and a member of Order of Eastern Star in California. She moved to Sebring in 1993 from Lavern, CA and had served as a director for the Highlands Womens Bowling Association and a member of First United Methodist Church, Sebring. She married her late husband, Wilson Heckman on May 27, 1944. She is survived by her son, William Heckman, Laverne, CA and nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania. Visitation, 10:30 am till 11:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am at Morris Funeral Chapel with Rev. A.C. Bryant officiating. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
