JACOBS, MARILYN L., 87 of Sebring, FL died December 15, 2014. Marilyn was born in Boston, MA, a graduate of Boston University. She taught school in Braintree, MA moving to Sebring in 1978 and was a member of Highlands Art League, a volunteer for Highlands County School Board working in elementary and middle schools, she also worked with Friends of the Library and a member of Temple Israel. Marilyn is survived by a loving family; brother, Malcomb Sibulkin, Farmington, ME and many nieces and nephew, Lauri Sibulkin, UT, Pirkko Chapin, ME, Toby Alterman, RI, Hal Alterman, FL, Philip Alterman, OR, Victoria Coyle, NY, Lynn Wickersham, CO, Jeffrey Alterman, NY, Justin Chapin, Uma Lescault and Trista Ena. Services will be held 12 Noon, Friday, Dec 19, 2014 at Temple Israel 1305 Temple Israel Drive, Sebring, FL 33870. The family request memorials to Temple Israel or Friends of the Library, 115 W. Center Avenue, Sebring, FL 33870 in Marilyn's memory.
