Biography
JONES, ELVINA I., 90 of Sebring, FL went home to be with the Lord, Monday, Nov. 23, 2009 in Auburndale, FL. She was a Lifelong resident of Sebring. She attended school in Sebring and graduated from a high school in Lakeland. For several years resided in New York as a Nanny for Dr. Shimm and his family and then she went to Miami where she was a Nanny for the Fogg family. She returned to Sebring working for the Hancock family and remained their friend till her death. She is survived by her sister Lois Owens, Baltimore, MD and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 11:00 AM at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park with Dr. David Richardson, officiating. MORRIS FUNERAL CHAPEL, Sebring, FL.
