Charles Brandon (C.B.) Jones Jr. 84 of Sebring, FL went to be the Lord, Thursday, November 5, 2015. He was born in Sebring, FL, son of the late Charles Brandon and Etta Grimsley Jones. A graduate of Sebring High School, class of 1949 and Florida State University, 1953. He joined the U.S. Army in 1953 and married Margaret (Peggy) McGee on February 4, 1956. He was President of Jones Oil and Tire, Inc. (1926-2014). He had served on the Sebring Utilities Commission; Highlands County Zoning Committee for 26 years; joined Sebring Firemen, Inc. in 1956 and was former Treasurer; Sebring Volunteer Firemen; Master Pairer for the Sebring Takedown Club, Gideons International, Member of Sebring Sunrise Rotary Club, a faithful member of First Baptist Church, a deacon and Sunday School Teacher, he was instrumental in beginning Lake Josephine Baptist Church, Sparta Road Baptist Church and Whispering Pines Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret (Peggy) Jones; sister, Mary Ellen Jones; sons, Dale and his family, Casey (Megan) Jones and Drew Jones; son, Steve (Glynda) Jones and their familiy, Krystal (Robert) Nelson, Michael (Cassie) Jones, Ryan Jones; daughter, Joyce (Phillip) Statler and their family Maggie (Ryan) Chandler and Colton Statler; son Barry (Janine) and their family, Mark (Renee) Lawrence, Kayla Jones, Wesley Jones and ten great grandchildren; Sister-in-laws, Joyce Bovard and Frances McGee. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-7 PM at Morris Funeral Chapel and 2-3PM Sunday with a service to follow at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. Memorials to First Baptist Church of Sebring or to Gideons International.
