KEMPNICH, Michael L, 92, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 in Sebring, FL. He was born April 8, 1925 in Omaha, NE to Michael and Matilda Kempnich. Michael had been a snow bird from Dorset, MN since 1990 and became a permanent Florida resident in June 2017. A member of St. Catherines Catholic Church, Sebring, FL. Preceding Michael in death were his parents Michael and Matilda Kempnich; brothers, John, Fred, Al, Robert, Leo and Martin; sisters, Maria Clark and Elizabeth Windels. His wife Glennys Boggs Paulsen Kempnich. Michael is survived by his son, Richard “Rick” (Laura) of Nevis, MN; grandsons, Michael of Santa Cruz, CA and William of Nevis, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends from Omaha, NE, Nevis, MN and the Shamrock Group on Erin Canal, Sebring, FL. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Holy Ghost Church, Omaha, NE at 10:00 am with viewing at 9am at the church. Burial will follow at St. Mary Madglene Cemetery, Omaha, NE.
