Life Legacy



KESSELRING, LOIS IRENE, 92 of Sebring, FL died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at The Palms of Sebring. She was born in Polo, IL, February 11, 1918, daughter of the late Harvey E. and Orpha Gilbert Butterbaugh. Moved to Sebring in 1976 and a resident of Desoto Mobile Home Park. Retired as a Nursing Assistant at the Palms of Sebring. She was a member of Sebring Church of the Brethern. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Charles;her parents, four sisters and a brother. Survivors include sons, Lester (Barbara) and Howard (Sharon) of Sebring; daughter, Marcel (Baldy) Miranda of Sebring; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Darlene (Dean) Butterbaugh of Dixon, IL; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Sebring Church of the Brethern and a graveside service will be July 9, 2011 at 11:00 am in Polo, IL The family suggest memorials to Church of the Brethren, Palm Foundation or Meals on Wheels.

So sorry for your loss. I am the daughter of Rogene Barriage Boward. I believe my Grandmother Ruth Kesselring Lyons Barriage was releated. Mom passed away last December, but I remember the Kesselring family, Especially Aunt Dottie and Uncle Paul from Woosung, IL. Please know we are thinking of you at this sad time.
