Life LegacyLENIHAN, THOMAS W., 69 of Sebring, FL went to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 5, 2015 in Orlando, FL. Tom was born in NYC, NY, son of the late Thomas Joseph and Theresa (Fruehwirth) Lenihan. A graduate of the University of Maryland, receiving his BS. He was associated with Manufacturers Hanover Trust in NY and married Susan Reed, then moving to Sebring in 1972, to establish his accounting firm where he practiced as an Enrolled Agent. Tom was a former Rotarian and former county coordinator for the March of Dimes. A co-founder of Hammock Soccer League and was active in Scouting for many years having served as a Scout Master and later served as training co-ordinator for Calusa District and received the Soaring Eagle Award. Tom was former Flotalla Commander of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. He enjoyed boating, fishing, poker, his dogs and loved his family. Tom served as a lay leader of St. John United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa M. MacMillan and survived by his loving family, his wife, Susan Reed Lenihan, Sebring; sons – Shawn Lenihan and Eric (Jessica) Lenihan both of Sebring, William (Stacey) Lenihan, Apopka, FL; bother-in-law, Donald MacMillan, Danbury, CT; sisters-in-law, Barbara Grohmann, State College, PA and Marcy Wilson, Selbyville, TN; grandchildren, Reagan Marie Lenihan and Declan Thomas Lenihan.
