LEWIS, MELISSA A., 27 of Lorida, FL died, Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Sebring. She was born in Hialeah, FL moving to Lorida from South Florida in 1999, a graduate of Sebring High School. Melissa was a member of First Assembly God and was a Special Olympian, having won the Gold, Silver and Bronze in swimming. She loved the outdoors taking in fishing, horseback riding, roller coasters and enjoyed pop music. She is survived by her loving family; parents, Gregory and Sonia Lewis, Lorida, Kathleen and Sergio Ruesga. Curtis Florio all of Pembroke Pines, FL; grandparents, Helen Lewis, Lorida and Nancy Tough, Hialeah, FL; sisters, Cheryl Lewis, Andros Island, Bahamas and Kailey Ruesga, Pembroke Pines, FL; brothers, Joseph Florio, Sitka, Alaska and Nick Ruesga, Pembroke Pines, FL; aunts, Linda (John) Demmerle, Andros Island, Bahamas and Joann (Larry) Taylor, Elgin, Texas; niece, Aubrie Durham, Andros Island, Bahamas; numerous cousins.
