Life Legacy
William A. "Bill" Liles Sr, age 87, of Orlando passed away on March 2, 2017. He was born September 30, 1929 in Bladen County, North Carolina to Virginia (Newton) and Lendon Liles. Bill moved to Central Florida in 1956 to attend Stetson University. After graduation in 1958, he moved to Orlando to start his own real estate sales, appraisal, and development firm. He was blessed to do what he loved in a place that he loved for over 50 years. Bill is survived by his loving wife Kathryn Franklin Liles and by his sons and their spouses, William Liles Jr. (Luanne) Viera, FL and Wade Liles (Lynn) Orlando, FL. He is also survived by his two grandchildren Laura Liles and Alexander Liles, Gainesville, FL, two sisters Virginia Liles and Clara Fiveash, Brunswick, Ga and several nieces and nephews. Member of the First Baptist Church, Orlando. Past President of the Central Florida Society of Real Estate Appraisers. Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity Zeta Tau chapter. Celebration / Memorial service will be held on Saturday March 11, 2017 at 4:00pm at First Baptist Church, Orlando (Henry Chapel) with visitation following at Faith Hall. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to First Baptist Church, Orlando or Habitat for Humanity of Greater Orlando.
