LOWERY, ROBERT LEE, 67, of Sebring, FL, died, Friday, December 11, 2009 in Tampa, FL. He was born in Bartow, FL and raised Sebring, a graduate of Sebring High School, Class of 1960. He served in the U. S. Army in Germany. He worked for Inter County as a cable splicer and was transferred to Ft. Myers as construction manager for United Telephone, retiring from Sprint in 1981. He founded Telephone & Data Inc in March 2002 retiring and moving to Sebring, FL in 2005. A member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of First Baptist Church, Sebring. He enjoyed the outdoors, enjoying gardening, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Pamela S. Lowery; daughter, Tina Murray; sons, Ryan Lowery all of Sebring and Robert Lowery, N. Fort Myers, FL; step-daughter, April Fontaine and step-son, Tony Fontaine, Cape Coral, FL; brother, Danny Lowery and sisters, Barbara Dean and Sue Buice, all of Sebring; seven grandchildren. Memorials are to requested to Moffitt Cancer Center, 12902 Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33613-9497. Visitation 9am-11am, Wednesday with a service to follow as 11 am at First Baptist Church, 200 E. Center Ave, Sebring. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery, Sebring.
