Life Legacy



Maxine McCullough, 95 went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 6, 2014 in Avon Park, FL. She was born June 30, 1918 in Mount Vernon, IL to Onnie and Ida Cochran, who preceded her in death. In 1942, she married Dynes McCullough who passed away on June 27, 1991. Maxine and her husband Dynes served as missionaries in Brazil, S.A. for over forty years. They have four surviving children, Judith (Edward) Withrow, Michael (Laura) McCullough, Colleen (Dan) Arney, Robert McCullough. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were two sisters: Ann Cosner, Irene (Art) Sommerville; and four brothers, Ray Cochran, Lester Cochran, Onnie Cochran, and Wilbur Cochran. Maxine has resided in Florida since 1983. She attended Maranatha Baptist Church in Sebring. Service will be Thursday, Feb. 13 at 11am, with visitation one hour prior at Maranatha Baptist Church. Interment Will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park.

Judy and family,
Rejoicing that Maxine is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a faithful servant and had a deep love for her Lord. I know that she is rejoicing around the Throne of God and praising Him for eternity. Love to you.
