  Melissa Morris PlantMelissa Morris Plant, is the daughter of Terrill & Judith Morris. She was born in Orlando, FL moving to Sebring in February 1981, she attended Sebring Middle School and graduated from Sebring High School in 1988. She started working here for her parents at their funeral home during the summer months going full time in 1988. Melissa is our secretary and Preneed Counselor, she loves her job and likes helping people during their time of need. She married Michael Dawes in 1990 and they have two boys, James Michael he was born February 14, 1993 and Paul Franklin he was born July 29, 1996, they later divorced but both remain active parents with their boys. Both of her boys are very active in Boy Scouts with their father as a Boy Scout Leader with Troop #156 in Avon Park. James is now a Life Scout, he graduated from Sebring High School June 2011 and enrolled for college, September 2011 at Nashville Auto Diesel College to pursue a career as a Diesel Mechanic. Paul is a sophomore at Sebring High School and will be attending South Florida Community College in the dual enrollment program called the Career Academy. Melissa is now married to Timothy Plant of Polk county, they live here in Sebring and Tim works for US Foods in Lakeland, FL. Tim's son Joshua and his wife Regina and two grandchildren, Cason and Marlee reside in Georgia. Back
