MEYER, HERMAN 87, Sebring, FL died January 10, 2013. He was born in Brookings Co., SD and was a farmer, entering the U.S. Army and serving in the 1st Calvery Division in the Pacific during W.W. II. Sebring resident since 1986 working for BJ’s Sharpening. A life member of V.F.W. Post #3507 in South Dakota. Preceded in death by parents, Henry August and Amelia Weber Meyer; wife, Gladys; daughter, Linda Kaye and grandson, Christopher Arnold. He is survived by daughters, Bonnie Meyer and Marla Bopp; brothers, Chris and Fred Meyer; sister, Goldie Dahl and a good friend Wanda Miller; grandchildren, Jennifer, Amy, Rikki, Heather, Corey and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation 1:00 pm followed with a service at 2:00 pm, Wednesday at Morris Funeral Chapel, Sebring. Military Honors and a fellowship will begin at 3:30 pm, V.F. W. Post 9853, 75 N. Olivia Dr., Avon Park.
