Life Legacy



MILLER, ADDISON F., 103 of Sebring, FL died Sunday, September 25, 2016. He was born in Mason County, MI, son of the late Bruce and Mary C. Mohler Miller. He attended Manchester College in IN and received his BS degree from Michigan State University. He completed his Master's degree with coursework from Carlton College, MN and Hope College, MI. Addison married Barbara J. Nason on June 16, 1943 in Cedar Springs, MI. He taught in Clayton, Rockford and Scottville, MI and retired as Assistant Superintendent of Mason County Central Schools in 1975. He moved with his wife to Sebring in 2000. Addison was a former member of Scottville Rotary Club and a member of Sebring Church of the Brethren. Addison was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; a brother and two sisters. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Miller, Sebring and Connie Storer, Hillsboro, OH; his son, Stephen (Carol) Miller, Walnut Shade, MO; a sister, Ruth Reinoehl, Kalamazoo, MI; a brother-in-law, Robert Nason and sister-in-law, Mary Noe both of Belding, MI; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at The Kesselring Square. Memorials may be made to the Sebring Church of the Brethren, 700 S.
