Dear Jean and Family - We are so sorry for your loss. It is diffult at any time, but Christmas time seems to make it moreso. We have so many special memories of our "old" sorority days together - and those times were always fun and upbeat when the Moyer family was there. It is our prayer that you will be comforted in knowing that there are those who care and share your loss, and that you might cling to the special memories you have of Rick. Wayne & Sandra Harris

Rick was one of the first persons that I came into contact when I moved to Sebring. He was a great sportswriter the the Sebring News, commissioner for city youth basketball, my friend and partner in SPORTSLINE MAGAZINE,PROMOTIONS and AD AGENCY. Rick got me started in this county!!! He was an asset to youth sports and active in many ways with the Sebring Firemen. I loved Rick Moyer. He always would say"we got to get together more, really we do!" I wish we would have, but it will wait until we meet again in the heaven's! God bless Jean, Mike & Mindy.

To the Moyer family: I am thinking of you all during this sad time. I am praying for you all and glad he is now resting in peace. (((Mindy & family)))

Rick, you meant so much to so many! You and Jean are long-time supporters of our employer, SFCC; but I first met you when you were the Honorary Chair of the AP Relay For Life. The next year, when I became Chair, my sister, Jackie, and I became your neighbors. We will miss your humor, kindness and generosity you shared in spite of your battles with cancer.

I want to express my sincere sympathy to the family for your loss of Rick. Rick and Jean were always very concerned about Barbara Weston during her five year episode with breast cancer. You both cheered her up, took her to lunch, gave her a wind chime(still hanging) and gave her your ticket to an SFCC concert she wanted to see, but was sold out. She thought you were both the best and I would agree totally! What a terrific memory we have of the Moyers. Love to all, Gerard DeWind

I am so saddened to hear the news of Rick's passing. Truthfully, I'm still shocked. I am so thankful that I had him as a mentor growing up as a child. He has an amazing spirit and his joy and laughter will always be remembered by everyone. I hope that I can be as good of a father to my children as Rick was to all of us. Please contact me if you need anything at all.
