Life Legacy



PATERSON, FRANCIS MOORE, 91 of Sebring, passed away, January 26, 2016. Pat as he was affectionately know by his many friends was born in Flint, MI, son of the late Graham and Ellen (Law) Paterson. He was a graduate of Grand Blanc High School, class of 1942 and entered the U.S. Navy in 1943-1946 and was an Ensign. Graduate of Central Michigan College of Education, receiving his BS. He married Frances F. Sheffler on October 23, 1954. The moved to Sebring in 1966, and Pat retired from the Property Appraiser Office, Highlands County. Former owners of Paterson Furniture and Fabric Shop in Sebring. Survivors include his loving family, wife, Frances; sons, Scott (Marie) and Clark (Tammy) Paterson all of Sebring; grandchildren, Tarryn Knight, Bubba Chavis and Thomas Nickley; great grandchildren, Bret, Evan and Luca Nickley. A private memorial service will be held.
