PIERCE, LAWRENCE E., 70 of Sebring, FL passed away, February 15, 2016. Larry was born in Elmira, NY, son of the late Clarence and Berenice (Wheeler) Pierce. He retired as a Corrections Officer, moving to Sebring in 2008. A faithful member of St. Catherine Catholic Church; 4th degree Knights of Columbus and was President of S.A.L.T. with the local law enforcement. He was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence E. Pierce, II and a brother, James C. Pierce. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Margaret (Peggy) Pierce, Sebring; sons, Joseph (Tammy) Pierce, Hornell, NY and Robert (Deborah) Pierce, Ark Port, NY; sister, Jane Ann(Tom) Canali and their granddaughter, Sara Canali, Sebring; grandchildren, Chelsea (Trevor) Miller, Emily Kay Mulhollen, Brooke C. Pierce and Jason Pierce and two great grandchildren. Visitation, 5-7 pm, Thursday at Morris Funeral Chapel with a Funeral Mass 10:00 am, Friday at St. Catherine Catholic Church. Further services and Burial will be in Hornell, NY. Donations maybe be made to St. Catherine Catholic Church or the Charity of your Choice.
