POPE, JR, CHARLES A., 85 of Sebring, FL died Oct. 15, 2012 in Sarasota, FL. He was born in Winston Salem, NC. Veteran of the U.S. Navy, W.W. II and U.S. Coast Guard during Korean Conflict. Former resident of Miami, FL. moved to Sebring in 1997 from Reno, NV, former employee for Sunshine Staffing and Sweetbay. He attended St. Catherine Catholic Church. He is survived by his daughter, Joni Owen and son, Charles A. Pope, III; sister, Wanda Rowley; niece Betty Kidd. Mass will celebrated, 10:00 am, Thursday 10/25/2012 at St. Catherine Catholic Church with military honors following at 2:30 pm, Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL.
