We met Bob and Anita in the early 1980s when they were living in the Bahamas. What a delightful couple. They were such a joy to be around. We found, being newcomers to the island, that they were a fountain of local knowledge. No question was too stupid. Bob and Anita went out of their way to introduce us to other ham operators, show us anchorages and alert us to any problems we might encounter. I use they as a reference to Bob and Anita. There were like one. We will miss Bob and would like to express our condolences to Anita. May she find some peace in all the wonderful memories of Bob, knowing that others share in them also.
