Too the Family of Bonnie Selph: I am deeply in sorrow upon the passing of your Mother and a great neighbor and friend of mine for the past 11 yrs. Bonnie Welcomed myself and mother to Sebring 11 yrs ago, She was a very devoted christian and lovely lady to say the least. I have enclosed a poem for her and the family. "Going Home" by Colin Moffett © 2006. Going home to the glory, my flight it is waiting Just delayed by heart’s fading beat. When God finally calls, no hesitating For I at last my Saviour will meet. Once I heard how much Jesus cared, Claimed Him as my Lord in a prayer. Cleansed and ready, my soul is prepared, For Heaven’s home and I am going to be there. What glory there, some of it has been told, The tree of life by deep crystal sea. The streets of the city paved with pure gold, And all its splendour is waiting for me. Often in my heart, so deep is a yearning, A longing for Heaven’s bright distant shore. The hand of time so swift in its turning, Will stop in its circle and move for me no more. Then I will go, happy in the leaving The ties of this earth no longer will bind. A mansion in Glory, the reward of believing, And the cares of this world left far behind. The blood of Jesus, the fuel for my flying, The fare of my flight bought at great price. He paid for it all in His suffering and dying, And purchase was complete when He did arise. I am but a pilgrim and stranger on this earth, Aimless and restless its paths I will roam. It may know me now this place of my birth, But Heaven is waiting and I am going home. "Butterflies from Heaven" by Linda Ann Henry. When we lose our loved ones they never die For I know once heaven takes their souls The Dear Lord leaves a little of them here To turn into beautiful butterflies So they can be near our hearts Blessed are those who can see the beauty Of the life which has gone to what is "God's Art" When we look for the angels They will send us Jesus' love I saw a butterfly today, my last prayer I gave away Heaven is more than souls of our loved ones When a father, mother, a brother, sister or a child dies Their hearts live in those who have loved them Every grain of sand, every sunrise and sunset All the good things we know and love They all go to Jesus for Him to protect As a gift, The Lord, lets us have a glimpse of those we love For a brief moment in time, for a short while A butterfly is seen at our window, sent from heaven Then we know, all will be well with those we love. Deepest Condolences Respectfully; Erin McGuire

Dear Sweet Aunt Bonnie. Such a sweet sweet spirit has now entered into God's presence and I'm sure already been told, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." I can just imagine the smile on L. E. and Granny Murphy's faces when they see Bonnie approaching. Her sweetness will be missed.

My sympathy to you and the family. Some of us have been fortunate to have our parents with us for many years. Bonnie was the most Gentle and Calm of the our "Homes" moms. Did she EVER raise her voice at us? I wish MY kids could ask the same of me. She lived her Beliefs. Her devotion gave her a special quality. I remember hearing her pray in Sunday School, church, your home and at my grandmother's hospital bed. Our time on Earth would surely be better if we were all more like you Mom.

Gala and family. Hope you all have a lot of happy memories. Our parents were part of a strong and devoted generation. It seems good that so many of Bonnie's family are near to each other now. Phil White SHS class of '60.
