SHOEMAKER, DONALD W., 64 of Sebring died June 14, 2017. He was born in Annapolis, MD and was a long time resident of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
He was a former transmission mechanic, moving to Sebring in 1989. A member of the Sebring Elks Lodge and had volunteered at Habitat, Don taught at the Highlands Sheriff's Boys Ranch in Venus, FL. Volunteered at Parkway Food Ministry and was associated with Carol's Upholstery. Don attended Faith Lutheran Church. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy (Kenny) Palmerton, Sebring; Laci Shoemaker, Davie, FL and Mary Shoemaker, Rapid City, SD; brother, Cliff Shoemaker, Sebring and former wife, Carol Fisher, Sebring. Four grandchildren. Visitation 2:00 pm Sunday with a service to follow at 2:30 pm at Morris Funeral Chapel.
