SIMMONS, THOMAS A. (BO), 58 of Sebring, FL died Thursday, April 12th at his residence. Bo was born in Winter Haven, FL, graduate of Alamance High School in North Carolina. A veteran of U.S. Army serving in Germany. A long time truck driver for Highlands County Waste Connections. Bo was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Betty Simmons, Winter Haven, FL; wife – Donna Lamb Simmons; son, Tommy Simmons and a daughter, Ashley Simmons; step-children, Jonnie Brannnon and Corinna Driggers both of Bowling Green, FL; brother, Timothy (Lisa) Simmons, Winter Haven, FL; sisters, Teresa (Jimmy) Merritt, Ft. Meade, FL and Terry Dickerson, Anniston, AL; grandchildren, Ireland Brannon, Kyleigh Bollinger and Kaanan Hodge. The family will receive friends – 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a service at 11:00 am, April 16, 2018 at Bible Fellowship Church, 3750 Hammock Road, Sebring. Military Honors will follow the service at the church, by V.F.W. Post #4300. Interment will be at a later date at Bay Pines National Cemetery, Bay Pines, FL. Memorials are requested to Wounded Warriors.
