SMITH, ELLEN, 80 of Sebring, FL, died Sunday, she was born in Lafayette County, FL. She moved to Sebring in 1972 from Hattisburg, MS, a member of Rainbow Apostolic Church and was a former Treasurer and Secretary. Ellen retired from Town Square Winn Dixie on South Lakeview where she worked in the Deli. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Calvin Smith; children, Mildred Plaumann, Donnie Ray Smith, Carolyn Smith and Larry Joe Smith. She is survived by her children, Ronald Smith, Helen Kelley and Betty Morris; sister O'Nell Byrd, seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and five great great granchildren. Services 5:00 pm, Thursday with visitation one hour prior at Morris Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fred Edwards officiating. Burial 2:00 pm, Friday at Old Hatchbend Cemetery, Branford, FL. Memorials are requested to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Rd, Sebring, FL 33870.
