Life Legacy

GORDON RAYMOND SPAULDING, (1928-2015) died October 17 after a short illness. Gordon was born in Harrogate,England and immigrated to Sebring in 1948 to grow Easter Lilies on the west side of Lake Jackson. He then served 2 years in the U.S. Army 4th Field Artillery Battalion during the Korean War. When he returned home he continued raising Easter Lilies along with Caladiums, alter deciding on caladiums. He was preceded in death by wife,Lorraine Kopta Spaulding. He is survived by children Tom Spaulding and Elizabeth Wolfe (Marvin) of Sebring and Gail Stanford (Chris) of Orlando, and grandchildren Nathan Stanford, Quinlan Wolfe (Rachael) and Megan Wolfe.
