Life Legacy
VORISEK, MARY E. (CONWAY), went home to our Lord on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 23, 2017. She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and Friend to whoever knew her. She and Chuck lived in Yankeetown for 47 years and owned and ran Yankeetown General Store for many years. She was very active in her community and instrumental in getting the Saint Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church built in Inglis. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Charles Vorisek, Sr. and her mother and father, Mary & John Conway, and two brothers, George and Rev. Laurence Conway. She is survived by her twin sister, Margaret Mercure; her brother, Chuck Conway; her 7 children, Bernadette St. John (Robert), Sylvia Langdon (Dave), Charles Vorisek, Jr. (Brenda), Laurence Vorisek (Michelle), Chris Vorisek (Tonya), Cindy Hinton (Doug) and Steve Vorisek (Sharon); 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Graveside committal service 5PM, Wednesday, December 6th at Pinecrest Cemetery. Donations maybe made to the Saint Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church for the Vorisek Hall Building Fund, 17353 NE Hwy 27 Alt, Williston, FL 32696.
