Life Legacy

Lois Evelyn Welsh went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom she dearly loved and with whom she longed to be, on September 20, 2015.
Lois was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada on November 24, 1929 to John and Retta Welsh. When Lois was still young the family moved to a small farm at Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan and lived there until her parents left the farm to attend Bible College.
Soon after her father graduated from Bible College her mother passed away. The family then moved to Cold Lake, Alberta where her father started a Baptist Church. Lois graduated from Prairie Bible Institute and worked for a few years in Cold Lake and surrounding areas. It was during this time that she met Joyce Kaufmann and Arelene Wilkins who had come to her Father’s church to hold special meetings. Soon after, she joined their team and traveled with them for many years.
When they realized it was time to give up traveling they moved to Maranatha Village and became involved with Mailbox School of the Bible, sending out Bible lessons and helping those who were receiving them until it was necessary to turn the work over to others. In 2012 Lois and her co-worker, Joyce Kaufmann, moved into Maranatha Manor
Lois is survived by her brother, Jack and his wife Eunice, who reside in San Marcos, CA.
Lois was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church, Sebring, FL where funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m.

Condolences or Life Stories may be expressed in her Guestbook. Morris Funeral Chapel, Sebring, Fl.

Aunt Lois was such a sweet lady. She was always soft spoken, gentle and so talented. She will be missed very much.
