My thoughts and prayers go out to Carl's family. We have known Carl and his family since he was a child playing baseball. As a parent I can not imagine the pain his family is going through. May god watch over all of them.

Carl was my Son in law. In the 15 years together we became friends, I watched as he grew into the man he was. From when him and Nichole got caught kissing in the neighbors yard to her moving in with him at 18 and getting married 5 years ago. Watching as he went from Dairy Queen job to testing for his a/c license. He was true at heart and a hard working person with a easy attitude. He enjoyed driving his jacked up Cadillac with HUGE rims booming the beat and wearing cool shoes with nice clothes. We had good times and did alot of fun things together from hanging out on the back porch playing with RC cars to riding four wheelers in the mountains trying not to get lost. Carl had alot of great times with us and he did enjoy his life with his family, from working two jobs with no sleep and picking up Wendy's for Nichole at midnite, I watched him as he guarded the baby in the nursery after they told him she was ok. To getting diapers at the store on his way home, he was a good father and he loved his little girl very much. He was caring, quiet, honest and living his life to the fullest. My heart hurts to lose such a good friend. He would have wanted us to remember the good things in his life. I know he will live on in my heart forever. He will forever be Remembered for his smile, his Ohio state and his CADILLAC. All of us will truely miss Carl and his memories will live on in our hearts forever. I promise to share all the great memories I had with Carl over the years with the person that will miss him the most his little girl Kaitlyn Winters. Thanks for giving me a chance to have great memories with you and just for being my Son in Law. Thats the way I knew you and thats the way you will stay in my HEART forever as my "Son in Law" "Carl Winters III" We Love you Carl may your soul rest in peace.
