Life Legacy
10/29/2010 - Pat Dell I've sold hundreds and hundreds of homes to many people over the years, but John Zubler was one who stood out and always would come over to say "HI" and give a funny story. I was impressed with his abilities in the field of music even in the late years of his life. Joan, take care of those Parrots! Sincerely, PAT ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10/31/2010 - Tom Frazer I am sorry to hear of John's passing. He was one of those rare people who loved the simple joy of playing the trumpet and making music regardless of what kind of group he played with. There are too few like him. Tom Frazer -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 11/01/2010 - Steve Welch I remember John for his friendliness and his love of playing his horn. When my family first arrived in Sebring, John heard me playing some of the instruments in The Salvation Army chapel; he knocked on the door and invited me to play in the community band. Occasionally, we got together for 9 holes of golf. (It was fun playing with someone who was almost as bad a golfer as I.) Then, there were a few trips to Tampa to watch some Rays games. Eventually, John asked about playing in The Salvation Army band. Although he was not a soldier, he always dressed in "black and white" to look more uniform. John was THE second cornet section. A lot of good memories of John during our five years there. Thanks for sharing him with us, Joan! I hope to see him in Heaven some day...
